Franz Schroeder - Ecclesiastical Designer and Artisan in Stained Glass and Mosaic.

June 7, 1929 - December 14, 2018

He was truly dedicated to his profession and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know and work with this truly and charismatic man.

It's 2 years now since my father past away. 2 weeks later, standing in his studio in Simbach, Bavaria - Germany, the idea of an art book was born.

By now this idea and wish to preserve his art and legacy becomes real in a soon to be published book.

It feels so good to have Virginia Raguin and Rolf Achilles now in the team. Both are well known and highly respected writers, historians and curators in the field and trade.

They will bring a deeper understanding, reflection and evaluation to his work and the book.

I am so thankfull for their time, commitment and passion to help me in my journey on my fathers footsteps. An emotional journey it is for me.

I am still on a book sabatical in Vienna, to work on this book.
All of it is so worth it and with so much fulfillment.
